Day 3 Ulster LC

Morning session : 19 swimmers represented Lisburn in this session.

In the boys 4x200fc relays, Lisburn entered a ‘A’ & ‘B’ relay teams taking 1st (Daniel W, Jack F, Dylan G, Nathan W) and 2nd place (Odhran M, Caleb M, Paul C, Noah P).

This was followed by individual medals awarded to Daniel W (Gold), Paul C (Silver), Caleb M (Bronze) in 400fc.

Andrea C was 2nd in the 1500fc. (Silver)

The mixed 4×100 medley relay (Nathan W, Paul C, Andrea C, Jodie M) came 2nd in a new club record of 4.16.88! (Silver)

14 swimmers (Daniel M, Deaten R, Paul C, Nathan W, Caleb M, Andrea C, Leah B, Jodie M, Noah P, Daniel W, Jack F, Conor M, Odhran M, Sasha McK) qualified for finals in the evening.

Middle session :

There were 13 swimmers in this session. Once again Lisburn girls (Moya O’K, Toni J, Jessika R, Ava McN) won the 4×200 freestyle relay (Gold).

Lisburn swimmers showed that they are a force to be reckoned with in the distance events with Ava McN coming 1st (Gold) and Jessika R
2nd (Silver) in the 1500fc.

10 swimmers (Benjamin B, Alfie S, Dylan R, Emily C, Ava McN, Toni J, Moya O’K, Rihanna L, Jessika R, Chrissy H) have qualified for finals later today.

Finals :

Great swims from all the Lisburn swimmers with 17 medals awarded to LCSC swimmers.

  • 4 gold medals to
    • Andrea C (50fly),
    • Nathan W (200bc) in a new club record,
    • Daniel M (50fc) and
    • Leah B (100fc).
  • Daniel M and Deaten R also came 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 50brs.
  • Our youngest swimmer Benjamin B also continued with his fast swims coming 2nd in 200bc and 3rd in 100fly.
  • Other medals were awarded to
    • Caleb M and Moya O’K 3rd in 200bc,
    • Alfie S and Dylan R 2nd in 50fc,
    • Chrissy H 3rd in 200brs,
    • Dylan R 2nd in 100fly,
    • Ava McN (2nd) Moya O’K (3rd) and Sasha McK (3rd) in 100fc.
